Traditional Tapas is a Spanish style of eating a meal of appetizer-sized delicacies with good wine in the late afternoon. In the US, tapas has come to signify a style of eating many selections of small portions, served with good wine that can be easily shared among friends. At Zely & Ritz we believe this “small plates” style of eating is the perfect way to enjoy several of Chef Sarig’s delicious dishes in a single meal without having to order a traditional large plate with a meat, vegetable and starch.

How many times have you looked at the menu of a nice restaurant and said to your dining companion, “Wow, I’d just like to order several appetizers” but instead , felt compelled by tradition to order an appetizer and a main course. At Zely & Ritz, Chef Sarig, Nancy, and Richard have created a menu with about 30 delicious small plates made from the freshest, local organic ingredients and an award winning wine list that lets you pick and choose the perfect meal for you.

If you are in the mood for a small meal then one or two tapas will be the perfect light and healthy meal. But if you’re really hungry, order several and try them with our wide selection of wines by the glass. We also have a wide selection of vegetarian dishes and as a runner Chef Sarig has several dishes that are perfectly balanced for athletes in training. This style works even better with groups of friends eating together because its easy to order and share several things at once and maybe even experiment with some of the more exotic dishes that you wouldn’t normally order.

Try the emu or the octopus stew or any number of other exotic and wonderful items you’ll find on our menu. But don’t worry, if exotic is not what you are in the mood for then there is a large selection of traditional favorites like steak, chicken and the freshest fish possible.
